Unilever North Africa announcement
19/07/2004 : Unilever today confirmed that Rachid Mohammed Rachid, Business President North Africa, Middle East & Turkey (NAMET), was this week appointed to the Government of Egypt as Minister of Industry & Foreign Trade.
He has already taken up his new position and as a consequence, has forthwith relinquished his role as Business President and all other positions held within the Unilever Group.
Doug Baillie will assume overall responsibility for NAMET operations in addition to his existing role as Business President Africa Regional Group.
